As part of the World Anesthesia Day activities, observed on October 27, the Anesthesia Technology Department organized a scientific workshop titled “Intubation Technique and Management.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Zahra and Prof. Aqeel Hanzal. The workshop covered the latest techniques in endotracheal intubation and airway management, including a detailed review of the practical steps of the procedure, global safety standards, and strategies for handling critical cases and difficult airways—all aimed at enhancing clinical competence in the field of anesthesia. This workshop comes within the department’s ongoing efforts to advance the practical skills of students and staff, support scientific and clinical training, and strengthen one of the essential pillars of anesthetic practice, in alignment with sustainable development goals focused on improving healthcare quality and patient safety.
