The department organized a scientific workshop entitled “Dog Licking Diseases in Humans,” aimed at raising awareness about the health risks associated with dog licking and the possibility of transmitting certain diseases to humans through saliva. The workshop included a detailed explanation of potential bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections, in addition to outlining preventive measures and proper health practices when dealing with pets. The workshop witnessed notable participation from students who engaged in discussions and raised questions, contributing to a broader dissemination of scientific information and enhancing health awareness within the academic community.
