Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the College of Agricultural Technologies organized a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Animal Production Efficiency”, supervised by Asst. Lect. Surur Hafez Mohammed Al-Fatlawi. The workshop highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in developing the livestock sector by improving breeding programs, monitoring animal health, and predicting diseases. It also reviewed various AI applications in precision agriculture, such as the use of drones, sensors, and algorithms to analyze genetic and environmental data. Scientific results were presented demonstrating the superiority of machine learning models over traditional methods in prediction accuracy and performance efficiency, especially in mating programs and genetic selection. The workshop emphasized that artificial intelligence represents a strategic step toward more sustainable and efficient animal production, strengthening farmers’ ability to make accurate, data-driven decisions.
