A Seminar Entitled: "Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Combating Intellectual Extremism"

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, presented a seminar entitled: "Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Combating Intellectual Extremism," held on Tuesday, 4/3/2025, at the College of Law Hall. The seminar highlighted the growing roles of artificial intelligence technologies in monitoring and analyzing indicators of intellectual extremism, supporting security and intellectual efforts to prevent manifestations of deviation and radicalization. It also addressed the importance of utilizing intelligent systems to enhance societal awareness and improve early detection mechanisms for extremist content in digital environments. During the seminar, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini emphasized that artificial intelligence has become an effective tool in supporting legal and security institutions by providing precise solutions that help mitigate the risks of extremism, enhance societal stability, and protect youth from extremist rhetoric. This seminar comes as part of the College of Law's commitment to keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, providing students with solid knowledge that integrates both legal and technical aspects.
