Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science organized a field awareness campaign titled “Be Your Own Doctor.” The campaign aimed to enhance students’ health awareness and empower them to monitor their well-being using modern technology. The campaign was delivered by the Quality Assurance Officer, Asst. Lecturer Qusay Muneer Diyab, and Teaching Assistant Ahib Hashem Kareem. They provided a comprehensive explanation of how to track vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, in addition to demonstrating how smart devices and health applications can be used for early detection and managing a healthy lifestyle. The campaign also included practical stations where students presented informative materials on preventing common diseases and emphasized the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle based on accurate medical knowledge and digital health technologies. The event witnessed wide participation from students, who praised the scientific content presented and its importance in promoting health awareness within the university environment. At the conclusion of the activity, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems affirmed its commitment to continuing awareness programs that keep pace with advancements in digital health and support the university’s vision in serving the community.
