Launching an Online Training Workshop on SOLIDWORKS and Its Role in Oil Refineries The Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies held an online training workshop titled “SOLIDWORKS and Its Role in Oil Refineries,” delivered by the Head of the Department, Dr. Ammar Abdulkadhim Fathi, through a virtual learning platform. The workshop discussed the significance of SOLIDWORKS in designing equipment and systems used in oil refineries, emphasizing its role in improving productivity, reducing design errors, and supporting advanced engineering simulations. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ skills in modern engineering software and prepare them for real industrial applications aligned with job market needs.
