On-Campus Workshop on Fuel Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) at the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies The Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies held an on-campus workshop titled “Fuel Life Cycle Analysis (LCA),” delivered by Lecturer Elaf Jasim Mohammed. The workshop covered the concept of Life Cycle Analysis, examining stages of fuel production from extraction to consumption, emphasizing its role in evaluating environmental impact and improving energy efficiency. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ understanding of sustainability assessment techniques and enable them to apply LCA tools in modern engineering practices. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Related to the Workshop: SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy — by improving fuel and energy efficiency. SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production — by assessing product life cycles and environmental impacts. SDG 13: Climate Action — by supporting emission reduction technologies and environmental impact analysis. SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure — by fostering innovation in industrial process evaluation and improvement. Al-Mustaqbal University – The No. 1 Private University in Iraq
