Awareness campaign on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance

Date: November 16, 2025 To mark the International Day for Tolerance, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries organized a field awareness campaign in which third-year students participated. The campaign was supervised by Assistant Lecturers Abrar Falah Naji and Rasel Ahmed Hashem, with the contribution of programmer Fatima Waleed Khalid. Educational brochures were distributed throughout the university buildings to promote the values ​​of tolerance and foster a culture of mutual respect among students. The campaign aimed to emphasize the importance of rejecting violence and extremism and to promote a university environment based on understanding and peaceful coexistence. The brochures also included awareness messages highlighting the role of tolerance in building positive human relationships, supporting creativity, and encouraging acceptance of others within the university community. The department affirmed that this activity is part of its annual plan aimed at enhancing community awareness and consolidating humanitarian principles in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
