Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, the College of Education / Department of English held a special workshop marking the sorrowful anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her). The event began with the recitation of Al-Fatiha in honor of her pure soul, followed by an opening speech that emphasized the profound spiritual and historical significance of this painful occasion. The workshop highlighted key moments from Lady Al-Zahraa’s noble life, her unwavering strength in defending the truth, and her vital role in preserving the message of Islam. Faculty members and students actively participated in the discussion, presenting reflections on the values embodied by Lady Al-Zahraa (p.b.u.h.), such as patience, steadfastness, compassion, and moral responsibility. The workshop also explored how these timeless principles can inspire ethical behavior, social awareness, and resilience among students in their academic and personal lives. The event concluded with prayers for the peace and unity of the Islamic nation, asking Allah Almighty to grant mercy, acceptance, and blessings to all believers on this solemn day.
