Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University,
and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science,
and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department,
the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science organized a workshop titled:
“The Art of Balancing Personal and Professional Life,” presented by Ms. Wqar Jefat Jassim,
with the attendance of several faculty members and students.
The workshop highlighted the importance of achieving a healthy balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being through effective time management, prioritization, and strengthening mental health among students and staff. It also addressed techniques for coping with daily stress and fostering a more productive and supportive work environment.
The workshop emphasized the significance of such training in promoting community awareness and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by enhancing mental health and stress-management skills.
Goal 4: Quality Education, through developing students’ life and professional competencies.
Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by empowering individuals to maintain a healthy balance that improves work performance.
At the end of the workshop, attendees expressed their appreciation for the university’s efforts in enhancing essential human skills and reaffirming Al-Mustaqbal University’s role in serving the community through impactful educational programs.
