Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, the Sustainability Ambassadors from the Forensic Evidence Department – College of Science participated in a friendly football match with students from the University of Baghdad, promoting student collaboration and encouraging positive athletic engagement. This participation comes as part of the university’s commitment to enhancing students’ physical and social skills and promoting sports as a key element in shaping a well-rounded academic community. The event reflects the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by supporting sports activities and improving physical and mental well-being. Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, through strengthening communication, respect, and sportsmanship among students. Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering cooperation between Iraqi universities. Participants expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which highlights Al-Mustaqbal University’s dedication to student development and its role in promoting activities that combine physical fitness with building positive inter-university relationships.
