Students from the Biology Department at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the "My School" Initiative, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The initiative aims to support orphaned children at the start of the new academic year by providing school bags and stationery, encouraging them in their educational journey. The visits conducted by the students included: Dar Al-Dawla for Caring for Flowers Dar Al-Baraem for Orphans Mahd Al-Hadara Foundation for Orphans The participating students from the Biology Department—Hurr Nizar AbdulAli, Masrah Muhammad Abdulwahab, and Muqtada Ali Hussein—helped distribute the school bags and stationery, bringing joy to the children’s hearts. This initiative aims to strengthen the university’s community role and instill values of solidarity and social responsibility among students, in line with the ministry’s focus on supporting orphaned and underprivileged students. Al-Mustaqbal University affirmed its commitment to encouraging such community initiatives that contribute to supporting vulnerable groups and fostering cooperation between students and community institutions. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
