Under the esteemed patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Science organized an awareness campaign entitled "Mental Health as a Pillar of Academic Excellence." The campaign aimed to highlight the paramount importance of students' mental health and its pivotal role in enhancing academic achievement and reaching excellence. It also sought to raise awareness among students and faculty members about methods for dealing with academic stress and ways to promote mental health, thereby creating a supportive and stimulating university environment for creativity. The campaign's activities, which targeted the department's students and staff in particular and the college in general, included awareness lectures and interactive workshops presented by specialists in the field of mental health. They discussed various topics such as managing anxiety and stress, time management techniques, and how to build psychological resilience to face academic challenges. The organizers emphasized that such initiatives align with the vision of the University and the College of Science in building the university student's personality in an integrated manner, balancing academic excellence, mental health, and proper conduct, which positively reflects on their academic journey and professional future. This event comes as Future University celebrates its achievement of being ranked first among private Iraqi universities, a testament to its continuous pursuit of comprehensive excellence in education, scientific research, and student care.
