Within the pillar of Prevention and Protection, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality), the Women’s Affairs Committee, in collaboration with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Cosmetic Techniques and Laser, and with the participation of Asst. Lecturer Hayman Waleed Mathloum and Ms. Shahad Nours, organized an awareness activity titled:
“Healthy Day for University Women”
This activity aimed to enhance health awareness among female students and to promote a culture of personal care and preventive health within the university community.
The event focused on spreading awareness about both physical and mental health, providing practical guidance in areas such as general health, proper nutrition, skin care, disease prevention, in addition to emphasizing the importance of early screening and adopting healthy lifestyle habits.
The organization of this Healthy Day supports the achievement of Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by encouraging healthier lifestyles, while also contributing to women’s empowerment and strengthening their active participation within the academic environment in alignment with Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
This activity represents part of the efforts of the Women’s Affairs Committee to strengthen prevention and protection within the campus and to foster an educational environment that supports the health and well-being of female students.
