The Department of Building and Construction Engineering organized an awareness activity titled “The Importance of Student Participation in Scientific Seminars and Conferences,” presented by Asst. Lecturer Noora Fawzi and Prof. Imran Issa, with the participation of faculty members and students. This activity aimed to highlight the significant role that student involvement in scientific events plays in enriching the academic environment, broadening their knowledge, and encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences. The presenters emphasized the importance of selecting scientific activities that align with students’ interests and future aspirations, as such participation contributes to developing their skills and strengthening their academic identity. The session witnessed active engagement from students through questions and discussions, which enhanced their understanding of the value of participating in various scientific activities.
