A Scientific Seminar by Ms. Fatima Haider Jassim titled “Artificial Intelligence Tools and Their Importance in Developing the Skills of Optical Technologies Students”

In alignment with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (Quality Education), Ms. Fatima Haider Jasim from the Department of Optical Technologies delivered a scientific seminar on the most important artificial intelligence tools, attended by third-stage students. The seminar covered the most advanced AI tools and their role in supporting medical education, particularly in the analysis of optical images, case diagnosis, and developing students’ skills in understanding the modern devices used in the field of optics. The lecturer also presented practical applications that students can utilize to enhance their abilities in digital eye assessment and in handling clinical data with greater efficiency and accuracy. Ms. Fatima emphasized that integrating artificial intelligence technologies into academic training contributes to improving learning outcomes and preparing students for the job market, which is increasingly moving toward automation and smart technologies. At the end of the seminar, a discussion session was opened, during which attendees presented several questions and remarks that enriched the topic, with an emphasis on the importance of continuing to adopt modern technologies to advance university education.
