The Department of Anesthesia Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized an online scientific workshop titled “Step by Step Guide to Checking a Journal for Your Manuscript”, presented by Prof. Aqeel Handhal Tarish, with the attendance of the Head of the Department of Anesthesia Technologies, the academic staff, and a number of students. The workshop aimed to introduce the scientific foundations for selecting appropriate journals for research manuscripts, the criteria for evaluating journals, as well as practical steps to ensure publication in reputable and accredited journals, contributing to the enhancement of research skills and the development of academic capabilities among participants. This scientific workshop comes as part of the department’s efforts to promote research culture, enhance scientific knowledge in academic publishing, and strengthen communication between faculty members and students.
