The Department of Industrial College Technologies Organizes an Awareness Workshop on the Effects of Drugs on Pregnant Women as Part of Anti-Drug Week

In line with achieving the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-being), Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and as part of the activities of Anti-Drug Week, the Department of Industrial College Technologies organized an educational awareness workshop on the effects of drug use on pregnant women, presented by Asst. Lecturer Zainab Ali Mohsen. The workshop addressed the serious health risks associated with drug use during pregnancy and its impact on both the mother and the fetus. It also highlighted the importance of early awareness and seeking medical support to reduce these risks. This activity comes as part of the department’s commitment to promoting health awareness among students and encouraging preventive behaviors, contributing to the creation of a safe university environment free from behavioral risks.
