In line with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, Assist. Lecturer Tamar Maitham Al-Asedi, the instructor of Engineering Statistics at the Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering, delivered a field-based practical explanation to students on how statistical principles apply in ongoing construction projects. During the scientific visit to the under-construction Al-Mustaqbal Teaching Hospital, he discussed applications of statistics in quality control, field data analysis, and estimating quantities and resources, emphasizing the role of statistical insight in supporting precise engineering decisions and improving overall project efficiency.
