The Department of Construction and Building Engineering Technologies organized a training workshop titled “Using the Absence Tracking System in the Department”, delivered by Dr. Barq, Ms. Alaa, and Ms. Kawther, with the attendance of several students and faculty members.
The workshop aimed to explain how the electronic absence system operates, including daily follow-up procedures and the ministry guidelines regarding attendance requirements and repeated absences. The session also included a practical demonstration on how to enter attendance data, how students can view their attendance records, and the proper communication channels when issues arise.
The presenters emphasized that the absence tracking system is a key component of the educational process, as it promotes academic discipline and ensures continuous interaction between students and instructors. They encouraged students to monitor their attendance regularly and adhere to the department’s regulations.
