The Department of Fuel and Energy Technology Engineering held a practical workshop for third-year students titled “Biodiesel Preparation in the Laboratory,” presented by Asst. Lecturer Shahad Mahmood Mohammed, on 24–11. The workshop included training students on the steps of preparing biodiesel in the laboratory, starting from preparing the raw materials and measuring the components, moving through the transesterification reaction process, and concluding with observing the practical changes during preparation and understanding the fundamentals of biofuel production. The workshop aims to enhance students’ skills in handling laboratory techniques and to deepen their understanding of modern methods in the field of biofuels as one of the alternative energy solutions.
