The Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering Department organized an awareness seminar titled “Violence Against Women: Causes, Effects, and Ways to Address It.” The seminar featured a lecture by Assistant Lecturer Ghadeer Haider Abbas, who discussed the most common forms of violence women face in society, along with its social and psychological causes, as well as the negative impacts it leaves on families and communities. The event was attended by a number of students who engaged with the topic through questions and comments that emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of respect for women’s rights and empowering them within society.
