The Head of the Department of Business Administration held an extensive meeting with the department’s teaching staff to discuss several academic and administrative topics aimed at enhancing the quality of the educational process and improving academic performance during the current semester. The Head of the Department opened the meeting by emphasizing the importance of the department’s research plan, calling on faculty members to adhere to its themes and research priorities, and to intensify their efforts in producing high-quality scientific publications that meet accreditation requirements and strengthen the department’s academic standing. The meeting also addressed the mechanisms for organizing and conducting monthly examinations, highlighting the need to unify evaluation methods to ensure fairness and transparency, in addition to adhering to the scheduled dates for announcing grades in order to enhance academic communication with students and encourage them to maintain continuous engagement. The discussion further covered the issue of student absences, where the Department Head stressed the importance of closely monitoring absenteeism rates and taking the necessary measures in accordance with applicable regulations, emphasizing the need for direct communication with students and guiding them to maintain regular attendance, especially with examination periods approaching. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department praised the efforts of the teaching staff and emphasized the importance of continuing to hold regular meetings to follow up on the implementation of academic plans and to improve the overall performance within the department.
