Student Participation in an Innovative Solar-Powered Bicycle Lighting Project
Under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ammar Abdul-Kadhim Fathi, the student Abbas Sami participated in the development of an innovative project involving the design and construction of a model that uses solar panels to generate lighting for a bicycle, on 18/10/2025.
This project comes as part of the department’s efforts to support student innovation and promote the use of clean energy in practical applications. It reflects the students’ awareness of the importance of renewable energy and its role in providing sustainable solutions to daily community challenges.
Dr. Ammar Abdul-Kadhim Fathi praised the student’s efforts and the quality of the project, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in enhancing students’ skills and encouraging them to develop applicable engineering ideas that align with global trends toward sustainable energy.
