Under the patronage of the President of the Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Fat Hamza Al-Sultani, And the esteemed head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, The Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences at the Faculty of Science - Future University held an awareness activity within the corridors of the university entitled: “Violent extremism leading to terrorism” Implemented by: M. M. Hadi Salah Hadi, M. M. Samar Hussein Hilal, Suha Ali Odeh, Benin Nazem Sarhan With the participation of a group of students of the department. This activity aims to raise awareness among university students about the concept of violent extremism, and the factors that lead to engaging in extremist behaviors, while clarifying the role of academic institutions in spreading the culture of dialogue and moderation. The activity also discussed the importance of using artificial intelligence techniques to monitor extremist content and analyze dangerous behaviors to reduce the spread of terrorist thought. Objectives of the activity: 1. Enhancing students' awareness of the risks of violent extremism and its impact on society. 2. Explain the psychological, social and technical factors that contribute to the emergence of extremist behavior. 3. Spreading a culture of tolerance and moderation and encouraging students to adopt critical thinking. 4. Explaining the role of artificial intelligence in detecting extremist content and reducing digital terrorism. 5. Supporting students to participate in initiatives that enhance intellectual security and build a stable and secure society. This initiative comes within the keenness of Future University to confront extremist behaviors, enhance intellectual security, and develop community awareness among its students, in line with the university's role in serving the community and protecting young people from destructive ideas The first future university on Iraqi universities
