As part of the awareness activities of Anti-Drug Week organized by the College of Health and Medical Technologies, the Anesthesia Technology Department held an online scientific workshop titled “Drugs and Their Dangers to Society”, presented by Mr. Abbas Sabri. The workshop addressed various types of drugs and their harmful effects on individuals and society, in addition to discussing the health and social consequences of addiction, methods of prevention, and ways to enhance community awareness to limit the spread of this phenomenon. This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) by supporting efforts aimed at preventing substance abuse, promoting healthy behaviors, and building an informed community capable of confronting health challenges related to addiction.
