The Department of Anesthesia Technology organized an educational workshop for students titled “The Anesthesia Cart and Its Vital Components”, presented by Mr. Hasan Najeh on November 20. The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the importance of the anesthesia cart in operating rooms, its vital components, and how to handle it safely and efficiently during surgical procedures. Mr. Hasan also explained the function of each part of the cart and the procedures for preparing and maintaining it before anesthesia use, ensuring patient safety and smooth workflow. The workshop witnessed active participation from students, who showed great interest in the practical details and took full advantage of the hands-on explanations regarding the proper use of the cart and the monitoring of associated vital devices. This workshop aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), which focuses on enhancing patient safety and improving healthcare quality by training medical staff to use vital equipment at the highest level of competence. The workshop is part of a series of educational activities organized by the Department of Anesthesia Technology to enhance students’ practical skills and link theoretical knowledge with hands-on application in a safe and stimulating learning environment.
