In a pioneering scientific step, the Department of Anesthesia Technology released a brochure titled “Anesthesia and Artificial Intelligence: A Safe and Precise Future in Operating Rooms”, aimed at introducing students to the latest scientific applications of artificial intelligence in anesthesia. The brochure distribution on campus was supervised by Ms. Zainab Mohammed Jawad, Ms. Tayba Hussein, and Ms. Lina Alaa Hussein.
The brochure provides a detailed explanation of how artificial intelligence is used to monitor patients’ vital data, support medical decision-making with higher accuracy, and reduce risks associated with human errors during surgical procedures. It also illustrates the role of integrating technology with medical expertise to improve anesthesia outcomes and ensure a safe operating environment.
This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by developing students’ scientific skills and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to patient safety and improving healthcare quality.
The brochure is part of the department’s strategy to promote scientific and technological literacy among students and to prepare a generation of professionals capable of meeting future challenges in anesthesia and healthcare.
