The Department of Construction and Building Technologies organized a field visit to Al-Siyada School, led by the department’s female instructors, as part of an awareness activity titled “The Role of Women and Their Impact on the Environment and Society.” The visit aimed to raise students’ awareness of the vital role women play in supporting environmental sustainability and contributing to the development of a responsible and progressive society. The activity included interactive lectures highlighting inspiring examples of women who have made significant contributions to environmental protection, as well as discussions on the responsibilities women hold in promoting environmental awareness and encouraging positive behaviors within families and communities. During the visit, the department’s instructors emphasized the importance of empowering women in scientific and engineering fields and encouraged students to develop their skills to contribute to a more sustainable future.
