The Department of Construction and Building Technologies organized a scientific field visit to Al-Mustaqbal Hospital, with the participation of faculty members and students. The visit aimed to familiarize participants with the hospital’s infrastructure and the engineering management systems used in modern healthcare facilities.
During the visit, students learned about the hospital’s indoor and outdoor spaces, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, safety management procedures, and the design considerations of corridors and waiting areas to ensure smooth movement for patients and visitors. The hospital’s engineering staff also discussed essential technical requirements for hospital construction and the engineering standards applied in medical facility design.
This visit comes as part of the department’s effort to enhance students’ practical experience, bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications, and strengthen their readiness for the engineering job market.
