The Media Department at Future University organized a training workshop titled “News Writing”, delivered by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Akram Faraj Al-Rubaie, and Assistant Lecturer Abdulrahman Abbas, with the aim of enhancing students’ skills in professional news writing and reporting. The workshop covered the key elements of a news story, methods of crafting effective headlines and leads, and practical exercises that enabled students to apply the skills directly. The session witnessed active participation from the students, as part of the department’s efforts to strengthen practical training and prepare qualified cadres capable of meeting the demands of the media field.
