Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamzah Al-Sultani, and the Head of the Department of Forensic Evidence, The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on campus titled: “Every Bottle Tells a Story… Toward a Plastic-Free World.” The campaign was conducted by Hawida Nazzal Hussein with the participation of a group of students from the department. The campaign aimed to enhance environmental awareness among university students, highlight the dangers of plastic waste on both the environment and human health, and emphasize the importance of reducing its use by encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly alternatives. The campaign also explained the role of forensic science in analyzing environmental pollutants and scientifically tracing their impacts. This initiative comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to promoting a culture of sustainability among students and motivating them to participate in activities that contribute to environmental protection and waste reduction, in alignment with the university’s role in serving the community and fostering environmental awareness among youth.
