Media Department Holds a Seminar on “Investigative Interviewing Skills” The Media Department at Future University held a seminar titled “Investigative Interviewing Skills”, led by Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Mohammed Asweed, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Abdulrahman Abbas Abdulrahman and Assistant Lecturer Muntather Hussein Abdul Ali Al-Saedi, and attended by a group of the department’s students. The seminar addressed the professional foundations of conducting investigative interviews, starting from preparation and setting objectives, to managing the dialogue and progressing in questioning. It also discussed methods for handling difficult interviews and conducting online interviews when in-person meetings are not possible. At the conclusion of the seminar, Dr. Asweed emphasized the importance of adhering to professional standards in investigative interviewing, as it represents a cornerstone in producing solid investigations that accurately uncover facts.
