The Future University held a special celebration to mark its achievement of advanced positions in international academic rankings. The event was attended by the Administrative Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Shahad, along with a number of academic figures and local officials.
The program included the opening of the exhibition “The Future of Applied Scientific Research to Support Industry and Innovation 2025,” which showcased a range of pioneering research projects that reflect the university’s growing role in supporting innovation and industrial partnerships. The celebration also featured a limited display of distinguished projects under the Innovation Partnership Impact theme, presented by students from various disciplines.
During the exhibition, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems stood out through the presentation of two outstanding medical-technology projects supervised by the department and presented by the student Hassan Alaa. These projects captured the attention of the Governor and the visiting delegation, who expressed great admiration for their innovative ideas and strong practical value.
The first project: A Smart Medical Hospital utilizing artificial intelligence and IoT technologies to enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of healthcare services.
The second project: An AI-powered tool that assists in completing an interactive game, based on advanced algorithms that allow intelligent interaction and task completion within the game environment.
The visitors praised the quality and execution of both projects, which were officially documented during the event. Additionally, Memorandums of Understanding were signed between the Governorate and the University to strengthen cooperation in fields of innovation and technological development. In the presence of the President of Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, job offers were presented to the student Hassan Alaa in recognition of his creativity and excellence.
These projects reflect the university’s vision in empowering young talents and promoting applied scientific research that contributes to community service and the advancement of the medical and technological sectors.
