Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the support of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Saadiya Hadi Hameedi, the College of Nursing organized a health campaign for early detection inside the university’s Registration Department, targeting visitors completing their registration procedures. The campaign activities were conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem Al-Saadi and Dr. Mahdi Hamzah Mandhur, with the participation of the college faculty members: Assist. Lect. J. Jaber Mahmood Al-Samurai, Assist. Lect. J. Hassan Najm Abd, Assist. Lect. J. Mohammed Ali Hassan, Assist. Lect. J. Raneem Al-Ali, in addition to fourth-year students from the Community Health Nursing Branch and Sustainability Ambassadors. The campaign included blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, weight and height assessment, as well as calculating the Body Mass Index (BMI). Immediate health guidance was also provided to help enhance awareness and prevent common diseases. The campaign saw strong engagement from visitors, who praised the quality of organization and the ease of receiving services within the registration area. The University Presidency affirmed that such initiatives fall within its plans to promote community health on campus and reinforce the role of the College of Nursing in serving society.
