Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, praised the dedicated efforts of the teaching staff and students who participated in the recent celebration held in honor of the university’s outstanding achievements in global rankings. Al-Mustaqbal University secured first place in Iraq across several distinguished international classifications, including: THE Interdisciplinary Science Ranking QS Sustainability Ranking THE Arab Universities Ranking, in which the university ranked 101–125 in the Arab world, marking an unprecedented accomplishment and a testament to the university’s leadership and excellence. The celebration took place on Saturday, 29 November 2025, with the attendance of officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and the local government, in an atmosphere filled with pride and appreciation for the efforts made to elevate the university’s name and contribute to the advancement of Iraqi universities on the international stage. In his speech, the University President affirmed that these achievements are only the beginning of a continuous journey of dedication and excellence.
