As part of its scientific cooperation efforts, Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed a scientific delegation from the Gifted Boys School in Babylon. The visit began with a comprehensive introductory tour of the university, during which the students were introduced to the modern infrastructure, advanced classrooms, and state-of-the-art scientific laboratories equipped with the latest educational technologies.
The tour also included an important stop at the Artificial Intelligence Center, where the students learned about simulation environments and intelligent applications used in training and scientific research at the university, with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Ali Alwan and Dr. Zaid Luay, along with a group of distinguished students.
The delegation then proceeded to the Department of Artificial Intelligence in the College of Science, where a simplified scientific briefing was presented on the concepts and applications of artificial intelligence, in addition to showcasing samples of student projects that reflect the practical and applied aspects of the field. The students expressed their interest in the academic opportunities offered by the department, supported by advanced laboratories and modern facilities.
At the end of the visit, the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, presented shields and certificates of appreciation to the visiting delegation in recognition of their participation and engagement, emphasizing the importance of continuing such visits to support talents and enhance their scientific capabilities
Both sides also stressed the importance of maintaining cooperation and organizing more scientific activities that contribute to raising students’ awareness and opening promising prospects for them in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence
