The Sustainability Ambassadors at the Forensic Evidence Department organized a training workshop titled "Criminal Law Application by Location and the Role of Forensic Evidence in Determining Jurisdiction", aimed at strengthening students’ legal awareness and enhancing their understanding of how criminal law is applied across different geographic boundaries.
The workshop highlighted the concept of territorial jurisdiction in criminal law, including how jurisdiction is determined in criminal cases. It also emphasized the critical role of forensic evidence in guiding investigations and identifying the competent authority to handle each case.
The session included practical discussions and case studies that helped students connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
