ngineer Aya Talib Hassan presented a seminar titled "The Role of Technology, Prosthetics, and Orthotics in Enhancing the Quality of Life for People with Special Needs" on Wednesday, 3/12, on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, in cooperation with the department coordinator Asst. Lecturer Montadar Saleh Mahdi. The seminar addressed the most recent technologies used in prosthetics and orthotics, highlighting their role in enhancing the independence of individuals with special needs, enabling their integration into society, and improving their quality of life. It also discussed advancements in materials and manufacturing techniques, as well as software supporting smart prosthetic movement.
