A workshop on pouring culture media and cultivating blood samples was held in medical laboratories. The Department of Medical Biotechnology organized a training workshop on the procedures of pouring culture media and cultivating blood samples, with the participation of a number of students. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ practical skills and improve their competence in handling bacterial samples according to established scientific principles. The workshop included a practical explanation of the steps for preparing and pouring different types of culture media, as well as the correct methods for collecting and cultivating blood samples under sterile conditions. It also highlighted common mistakes and ways to avoid them to ensure accurate and reliable results. The supervisors emphasized that organizing such workshops contributes to developing laboratory skills and supports the practical aspect of students’ education, positively impacting the quality of work in healthcare institutions and diagnostic laboratories.
