The Department of Biology – College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its efforts to introduce first-year students to this vital academic field, as Professor Dr. Maher Ali Jattan, accompanied by a group of Biology students, provided an informative overview inside the Registration Department on Thursday, 4 November 2025. The introductory explanation highlighted the learning outcomes of the Department of Biology, which are highly sought after in medical, environmental, and research institutions. The department focuses on preparing graduates with strong scientific skills in disease diagnosis, tissue culture, molecular analysis, genetics, and biotechnology, in addition to competence in operating advanced laboratory equipment. The presentation emphasized the active role of the Department of Biology, supported by an integrated academic environment that includes well-organized lecture halls equipped with modern teaching tools and specialized laboratories furnished with advanced microscopes and diagnostic instruments. These laboratories form a core component in training students and developing their practical skills to meet the demands of the labor market. The overview also addressed the career opportunities available to the department’s graduates, including medical laboratories, public health institutions, environmental labs, research centers, and pharmaceutical and food industries—reflecting the department’s importance and its contribution to supplying institutions with skilled professionals.
