The President of the Future University holds a meeting to review the preparations of the 2026 conferences and confirm the activation of international agreements and the development of institutional performance The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, held an important meeting that included the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, in addition to the Directors of Scientific Departments, Cultural Relations and International Classifications, in order to review the preparations for the series of conferences and scientific forums that the university intends to organize and host during 2026. During the meeting, the President of the University stressed the completion of the necessary ministerial approvals to organize the upcoming events, with the importance of identifying the participating entities and estimating the size of logistical support required to ensure the organization of sober conferences that elevate the status of the scientific university at the local and international levels. Within the framework of the file of cultural relations, he directed the need to activate the agreements concluded with local and international universities, as well as cooperation with international organizations and federations related to the higher education sector. He also stressed the importance of investing in these agreements optimally and providing periodic reports showing the extent of progress made in this aspect. In another part of the meeting, the President of the University congratulated the attendees and all university members and students on the occasion of the Future University's first place among private universities and the third Iraqi in the UI GreenMetric 2025 ranking. He called on his sovereignty to analyze the results of the classification according to the approved indicators, in order to identify strengths and opportunities for improving performance in areas that require additional strengthening. This meeting comes within the framework of the institutional approach of the University of the Future aimed at establishing quality, expanding academic partnerships, and enhancing its presence in scientific research platforms and international classifications.
