Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and the Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, Prof. Dr. Hasanein Khalil Ibrahim, the Department of Medical Biotechnology at the College of Sciences – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a health awareness campaign titled: “Health and Awareness for a Better Life for Women.” The campaign was presented by: Madlola Mueed Faiq Taqa Adel Aboud This campaign aimed to enhance women’s awareness of the importance of caring for their physical and mental health, highlighting early prevention methods and self-care supported by reliable medical information. It included a simplified scientific explanation of the necessity of conducting routine examinations related to women’s health, in addition to emphasizing the importance of following a balanced diet and engaging in regular physical activity to prevent chronic diseases and improve quality of life. The campaign also focused on the psychological aspect as an integral part of women’s health, explaining the importance of managing daily stress, recognizing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and burnout, and encouraging women to seek support and professional consultation when needed without hesitation. It emphasized that mental well-being is a fundamental element in promoting overall welfare and achieving balance across various aspects of life. This campaign comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to promote health awareness and empower women to understand the needs of their bodies and minds, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly those related to good health, quality education, and empowering community groups through continuous knowledge and education.
