Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and the respected Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science – Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign on campus titled: “How to Differentiate Between Seasonal Influenza and Coronavirus.” The campaign aimed to educate university students about the key differences between the symptoms of seasonal influenza and COVID-19, and to highlight early signs that help distinguish between the two. It also emphasized the importance of prevention and following proper health measures within the university environment. The campaign also included a simplified explanation of how viruses spread, methods of early detection, and the role of the Forensic Evidence Department in analyzing samples and diagnosing aspects related to epidemics and diseases, thereby enhancing students’ understanding of the importance of this specialty in supporting the health sector.
