The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a distinguished promotional campaign aimed at introducing students to the program and highlighting its scientific and humanitarian importance. The campaign witnessed broad participation from the department’s academic staff, including Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar, Assistant Lecturer Ghadir Haidar Abbas, and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan.
The campaign included a detailed presentation about the nature of study within the department and the approved academic curricula, in addition to showcasing modern models of prosthetic and orthotic devices and the technologies used in their design and manufacturing. The instructors also provided extensive explanations to students regarding future career opportunities and the role of graduates in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
