he Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering held a workshop titled “Academic and Administrative Performance Evaluation”, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Ghadir Haidar Abbas, as part of a series of programs aimed at improving the quality of education and enhancing performance efficiency within the university environment. The workshop aimed to clarify modern mechanisms and criteria for performance evaluation, along with presenting scientifically approved methods for measuring the efficiency of faculty members, students, and administrative staff. It also addressed how to analyze evaluation results and utilize them in developing academic and administrative plans to improve the quality of educational outcomes. The workshop aligned its themes with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including: Goal 4: Quality Education Through adopting accurate evaluation tools that contribute to improving the educational process. Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth By enhancing the efficiency of academic and administrative staff and improving the university work environment. Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure Through applying innovative methods in quality management and institutional evaluation. Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals By strengthening internal collaboration among departments and units to support sustainable development strategies.
