Fuel & Energy Students Visit the United Plastic Company

The Fuel and Energy Technologies Engineering Department organized a field visit to the United Company for Packaging Materials Manufacturing and for the Production of Plastic Granules and Raw Materials, with the participation of a group of students and the supervision of faculty members from the college. The visit aimed to introduce students to modern industrial operations, allowing them to observe production lines, plastic granule manufacturing processes, and the raw materials used in plastic industries. This activity supports enhancing the connection between theoretical study and practical application, while developing students’ professional skills. During the tour, specialists from the company provided detailed explanations about recycling methods, quality improvement techniques for plastic materials, and modern packaging and manufacturing technologies, in line with global trends toward sustainability and waste reduction. Students emphasized the importance of such visits in broadening their technical knowledge and enabling them to experience real industrial environments, contributing to the preparation of capable engineering graduates who meet labor market demands.
