In alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 8 on the safe use of technology, the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop on electronic blackmail, supervised by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatima Hashim Abbas, and Lecturer Noamas Al-Khalidi. The workshop aimed to raise the awareness of students and the university community about the dangers of electronic blackmail and methods of protection. It included real-life examples, explanations of legal and technical procedures for dealing with such cases, and practical tips on the safe use of the internet and social media platforms. The event witnessed notable interaction from participants, reflecting the university’s commitment to strengthening digital culture and protecting the academic community from electronic threats, as part of its ongoing programs to enhance digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness.
