Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and supervised by the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized a recreational sports activity represented by a friendly football match between students of the Intelligent Medical Systems Department and students of the Cybersecurity Department. This event comes as part of the extracurricular activities aimed at enhancing student engagement and encouraging participation in sports events. The match was filled with enthusiasm and a spirit of positive competition, as both teams delivered remarkable performances reflecting their athletic skills and teamwork. This initiative aimed to promote physical activity, develop teamwork skills, and reinforce the concept of sports as a fundamental element in supporting students’ physical and mental well-being. Organizers of the activity emphasized that sports are an essential part of the university environment due to their role in improving physical fitness, fostering discipline and commitment, and contributing to reducing academic stress while strengthening social bonds among students from different departments. The event received wide interaction and significant student attendance, reflecting the university’s commitment to providing a balanced educational environment that integrates academic learning with physical and health-oriented activities. This activity was carried out by the department’s activity coordinator, Asst. Lecturer Ali Saleem Haleem, and the teaching assistant Aheeb Hashem Kareem.
