The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems Holds a Workshop Entitled “Integrating People with Disabilities into the University Environment”

On Tuesday, December 3rd, the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems held a workshop titled “Integrating People with Disabilities into the University Environment,” presented by Asst. Lecturer Ali Saleem Haleem, with the attendance of a group of faculty members and students. The workshop addressed the importance of providing an inclusive university environment that ensures active participation of students with disabilities. It also reviewed the major challenges they face and explored possible solutions through supportive technological tools and educational methods. Additionally, the workshop highlighted the role of academic departments in promoting a culture of inclusion and adopting policies that facilitate access to university facilities and services. At the end of the workshop, the presenter offered a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing community awareness and increasing the level of support provided to this group, in line with modern university approaches toward a more inclusive educational environment.
